RENTAL AGREEMENT
I accept all equipment in its present condition, and I accept full responsibility for the care of the equipment I am renting. I agree to pay for any damage to the equipment while under my care, and to replace the equipment at full retail value if it is lost or stolen.
I understand that I will be charged a minimum of $25 if I return the EQUIPMENT any time after closing and that this amount will increase based on return time regardless of conditions. I understand that if I exceed my reserved rental time and inconvenience other customers, I will be charged a rate double that of the regular rental rate of time exceeded.
I understand that if I request a pickup or to have my rental towed back to the RELEASEES and IF THE RELEASEES can accommodate such a request, there will be a $50 fee per item towed payable upon return to THE RELEASEES’ premises.
I understand that I am allowed to using the EQUIPMENT only in Canada.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
I authorize the RELEASEES to make a one-time debit to my credit card for the booking. I authorize the RELEASEES to make a one-time debit to my credit card if I fail to abide the rental agreement rules, which include the late return fee and/or the pickup/towed fee and/or replace the equipment at full retail value if it is lost or stolen.
Credit Card transactions are subjected to 7% PST. By agreeing to this form, you give the RELEASEES permission to debit your account indicated on or after the indicated date. This is permission for a single transaction only and does not provide authorization for any additional unrelated debits or credits to your account.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement and any rights, duties, and obligations as between the parties to this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and no other jurisdiction. Any litigation involving the parties to this Agreement shall be brought solely within the Province of British Columbia and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of British Columbia.
CONSENT
I CONFIRM THAT I AM OF SUFFICIENT AGE (19 YEARS+) AND IN MENTAL CAPACITY TO SIGN THIS DOCUMENT. I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS AGREEMENT PRIOR TO AGREEING, AND I AM AWARE THAT BY AGREEING TO THIS DOCUMENT I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS WHICH I OR MY HEIRS, NEXT OF KIN, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, ASSIGNS AND REPRESENTATIVES MAY HAVE AGAINST THE RELEASEES.
